Egypt is hosting the AfriNIC-10 Public Policy Meeting due to be held from May 10 - 21, 2009. The event is jointly organized by the African Network Operators' Group (AfNOG) and the African Network Information Centre (AfriNIC).

Several side meetings and workshops will also be hosted in collaboration with other organizations such as the Internet Society (ISOC) and the Association of African Universities (AAU).
AfriNIC is a non-governmental and not-for-profit membership based organization whose main role is to serve Africa as an RIR.
