Out of the realization that telecom consumers have a number of rights and opportunities related to their use of telecom services and out of a strong conviction that consumers should be provided with clear and sufficient information to make informed choices, the Consumer Rights Protection Committee committed itself to protect, educate and represent telecom consumers in an ever changing telecom market. The committee will accomplish these goals by:
- Responding to, investigating and resolving consumer complaints in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
- Pro-actively representing, educating and advocating on behalf of consumers.
- Researching and analyzing consumer Issues.
- Working with the telecom business community, consumer groups and citizens to develop and implement creative solutions to solve consumer problems.
