What are the procedures for the entry visa to Egypt?
- A valid passport and a visa are required to enter Egypt. All participants are requested to send a copy of their passport together with the registration confirmation message received as well as the invitation letter to the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate in their country of origin or residence in order to obtain a visa.
- Participants who are nationals of countries where there is no Egyptian representation should contact Mr. Basel El-Tabie at beltabie@tra.gov.eg ; for facilitation of visa issuance, at least one month prior the event.

How long does it take for Egypt’s visa to be issued?
The visa to Egypt takes 15 working days to be issued.
Will there be transportation service?
Shuttling service will be provided from the airport to the hotel and to the Meeting venue, and vice versa.
Are there special prices for participants’ accommodation?
NTRA will provide all participants special rates in a number of selected hotels on bed & breakfast basis during the workshop dates.

Currency and banking
The official currency of Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). Visa, American Express, Access/MasterCard can be used. Banks are open from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
